Edible Emperor’s White Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum morifolium) is a refined, aromatic flowering herb prized for its delicate white blooms and light, floral flavor. Traditionally used for herbal teas, the dried flowers produce a smooth, slightly sweet infusion with a gentle cooling quality, while fresh petals can be added to salads or garnishes. Its elegant, layered blossoms and soft fragrance also make it a beautiful ornamental addition to garden beds and containers.

Cultivated for centuries in China, where it is known as 貢菊 (Gong Ju), this chrysanthemum variety has long been valued for both culinary and traditional uses. It is especially associated with Anhui province, where careful growing and harvesting practices have been developed to preserve its quality and flavor. The plant offers both visual appeal and a steady harvest of blooms when grown in the right conditions.
